The story of Paper Rooh began in the heart of Jaipur in 2023 as our Founder, Alicia, was wandering through the city’s winding streets, captivated by the elegance of its palaces, the vibrancy of its colors, and the intricacy of its prints, patterns, and pottery. In one serendipitous moment, she passed by a palace being adorned for a grand wedding — marigolds in the air, lights in the distance, joy everywhere. It was in that instant, that inspiration took form — a vision to create stationery that celebrates life’s most beautiful moments with the same richness and Spirit.
